What are Skin Boosters?

Skin Boosters contains hyaluronic acid for deep hydration, collagen production, anti-ageing treatment, whitening, and pore size reduction.

Using a dermal injector gun or a hand injection technique, skin booster results in healthier and plumper skin.

How Do Skin Boosters Work?

A skin booster injection includes hyaluronic acid that attracts 1000 times its weight in water. When injected into the skin, it drastically increases the level of skin hydration.

The deep hydration immediately shows on the skin’s outer surface, delivering younger-looking, moisturized skin. It also has a bio-remodelling effect on the skin’s natural ability to produce collagen and elastin, both being components of youthful skin.

Skin Boosters can help in:

  • Pore reduction

    – Skin booster treatment minimizes pores by improving collagen structure, making the skin look firmer.

Is There a Downtime? How Long Will It Last?

There’s little downtime following a skin booster treatment in Singapore. You may experience tenderness, redness, and minor swelling after a session, but this will go away after a few days.

On average, results can last up to 12 months after completing the recommended sessions. However, this depends on a patient’s skin type, age, and lifestyle.

How many treatments are necessary?

Each patient usually needs three treatments, 2 to 4 weeks apart. This is to allow the skin to heal for the next session. The number of sessions can vary based on the patient’s condition.

What To Expect During the Skin Booster Procedure?

A topical numbing cream will be applied to the skin 20 minutes before the treatment starts. During the procedure, the aesthetic doctor may use manual hand injection or an injector gun to let multiple microinjections of the booster penetrate the skin. This may last for about 15 minutes.
