Common age-related changes in the eye area include:
- Dark eye circles
- Skin laxity in the eyelids
- Fine wrinkles in the undereye area
- Eyebags
Dark eye circles are usually caused by poor blood circulation or blood pooling in the undereye region, as well as melanin deposition in the undereye skin. Sinus problems can also contribute to a dark eye circle appearance. Some individuals may also have prominent veins in the lower eyelid area that further worsen the dark eye circle appearance.
Skin Laxity and fine lines/wrinkles around the eye is related to age related loss of collagen and elastin in the skin around the eye.
Eyebags are related to loosening and loss of integrity of the important ligaments around the eye, specifically the periorbital septum. This leads to protrusion of the lower eyelid fat, resulting in what we see as eyebags.

However, most people describe the downtime as highly manageable and there is no need to alter your daily activities or face washing habits.
Some customers report improvement after the 1st session. However, for the majority of customers, more visible and sustained results are appreciable after the 3rd session.
